Beloved husband of 57 years to Susan, Dad to Angela and Preston, Father in Law to Kelvin and Ann.

Frank trained as a carpenter and joiner, undertaking his apprenticeship with Dudley Coles (now part of the Kier Group) where he remained until retirement at the age of 59, his final position being as Chief Planning Engineer.

He met his wife Susan in 1961.  They were next door neighbours and soon became a couple, buying a home and building a family of which he was always so proud.

Frank loved Dartmoor, all animals and most of all his canine friends.  He joins Judy Dog from his childhood as well as Judy Dog 2, Rusty, Shandy, Robbie and Sooty. His fathful Sweep remains, taking care of his wife.

Frank loved adventures abroad, visiting Cuba, Australia, Myanmar, Cyprus, Malta and many other wonderful places far and near.  His favourite place to be was at his home with his wife and Sweep the dog.

In later life he lived with dementia and physical disability but was always still Frank.  He remained the heart and soul of his family, welcoming Ellie, Emily, Emily and Georgia with open arms.

He loved fun and will always be remembered laughing to the point of tears, rubbing his hands together and occasionally kneeling on the floor banging his fists in hysterics at Dads Army, Life of Brian and all Monty Python, Only Fools and Horses and Fawlty Towers amongst many others.

Frank was loved and respected by so many people and will never ever be forgotten.  His spirit and character lives in his children and grandchildren
